Daily Life & Social Structure
Life in ancient Greece was quite different for men and women. Women were expected to lead a private life as wives and mothers. Their lives were centered on the home. They cooked, cleaned and took care of the children. Girls went to school till about twelve years old. The boys went through education much longer even though some boys still dropped out.
